This workshop is intended for individuals who will be completing assessments for students pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.  The workshop will focus on statutory, regulatory, and case law.  In addition, best practices and the assessment of students will be provided from the perspective of an attorney/school psychologist.

Carl D. Corbin, PsyS is Associate General Counsel at the School and College Legal Services of California.  He graduated from Gallaudet University with a PsyS in school psychology, worked over five years in public school districts as a school psychologist.  Mr. Corbin is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Licensed Educational Psychologist (inactive), and obtained his law degree at University of California, Boalt Hall.
