Strategies for Social Skills

This presentation will provide multiple strategies to help with listening and speaking in social situations. Innovative ideas on social topics will be shared, and tone of voice and body language will be discussed. Reading interest from others will be modeled and role playing activities for social situations will be given to help kids with teasing, interacting, and friendships.
Susan Diamond, MA, CCC is a licensed speech-language pathologist and the author of "Social Rules for Kids". Ms. Diamond has a private practice in Alameda, California where she diagnoses and treats communication disorders and specializes in social language skills. She has 25 years experience providing individual and group therapy. Ms. Diamond speaks at schools, conferences, and has appeared on television as an expert on social skills.
