Parent Education Program (PEP)

The Parent Education Program (PEP) offers education, guidance, and outreach to parents and caregivers.  PEP strengthens parent-family-child relationships by addressing common parenting concerns including learning difficulties, school and academics, as well as their child’s emotions and behaviors. By focusing on prevention rather than intervention, our parent education workshops provide much-needed support, skills, and tools for families who need it most.

Learning Program

The Learning Program offers high quality, intensive educational therapy to help struggling students improve how they view themselves in the world and as a learner.  Educational therapy helps in the development of confidence, resilience and growth in positive behaviors and self-advocacy, giving the student valuable life skills to use in school and into adulthood.

Supports one year of intensive therapy for fifteen children with mild to moderate learning disabilities build self-confidence and motivation to succeed in school

Helps six children (unable to access special education resources at school) get the educational support they need to develop life-long skills for learning

$5,000

Provides one year of fee subsidies for three at-risk children from underserved communities achieve grade level in reading and/or math
